'I started again from scratch and this time it worked. The first time I followed the instructions in the RH 7.3 HOWTO, but the second time, I also looked at [Der Herr Hofrat's] "RTLinux Kickstart Session" from the 4th Real Time Linux Workshop that I found on the Net. Specifically, I think the difference that allowed it to work was in the "configure kernel" section where you clear the "Loadable Module Support / Set Version Information on all modules symbols" option. That is the only difference between two of my attempts to make it work that would have the most likely affect (as far as I can tell). There are some instructions for RH7.3 and SuSE 8.0 in the rtlinux_contrib package . hofrat _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list Rtl@rtlinux.org http://www2.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/rtl _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list Rtl@rtlinux.org http://www2.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/rtl
