Checklist for running AO on a non-science object /w non-sidereal rate.
AO on an AO_reference_object, Observer a sciense object. These object are moving in relation to each other (non-sidereal rates).

0. Things to remember

   Offset between the AO and sciense object must be less that 40 arcseconds.

   Observer must provide the offset data between the object.
   File format is explained here: ostool_fmt.html

1. Turn on ao.notify option in tcsd:

   In tcs1_status type,  the command 'ao.notify on'

   Click the setup tab and check the ao.notify value.

2. Setup on AO reference object.

   Turn off "SM.tracker.Enable" on AO system.

   Zero TCS offsets
   
   Press the smirror's "sm.os.update 0 0" button.

   Make sure AO is on -> pr, tt, focus, and tt.offload loops.

3. Start ostool & start observation.

   Load offset data.

   Adjust os.period. Default is 10 seconds.

   Press "os.start" to begin observation.
       + the tcs should offset to science object (now visible to the science camera).
       + the AO should stay on AO object (the steering mirror moved to compensate).

   Do not offset, dither, or guide TCS while observing in this mode.

4. To stop session

   'os.stop' on os.tool

   'os.update 0 0' on steering mirror dialog box. This
   should move you to the  science object.
