Subject: Spex Version 2000.01

I recompile Spex XUI, IC and DV. The current directories will run the
2000.01 version. Major changes are:

1. Array Focus Code:
     Using new Step Vs. Voltage coefficients obtained from 1/13 cooldown.
     added percentages and /tmp/afoc.txt output during init process.

     Note: New hardware limits are: -296261 to 313106
             Software limts set to: -295000 to 310000

     There is still a problem with the array focus initializing
     if it is in the IN limit. Will need to research to see if a
     software solution is possible. However, the PC-58 manual is
     missing and need to be found.

2. Fixed  broken year on DATE_OBS FITS header. format is now yyyy-mm-dd.

3. Cal Mirror & Lamps:
   Added support for controlling cal_lamps with baytech RPC3 unit. Note:
   This unit MUST BE turn on and connected to the ethernet for any
   cal_lamp command to work.

   Change IN/OUT position to 252,000 & 10,000 (from 256,000 & 800)

4. Applied 1/1/00 cluster patches to the OS (Y2K patches).

5. STOP - The Stop function should work in basic mode for long integration
   times.

6. Fixed SmartMotor_Not_Powering_Down problem. Rotator & Grating should
   power down correctly. But minor movement of the shaft will occur ( +=15
   step typical, but I saw a 70 step move once).

   The only other solution is to replace the current motor with upgraded
   motors (cost $1000 to upgrade each motor). Newer motor have a power off
   command.

7. DV shows more decmial value on smaller pixel values.

8. Temper Controller:
      Fixed 'simulation' message on XUI status window.
      Guidedog TC is displaying correctly now, but there this problem
      my resurface. A better fixed will take some more time.
