epat Description

epat - is a simple utility used to edit clocking patterns used by NSFCAM, CShell and maybe other IRTF instruments. The main window contains a Main Menu,  status canvas, command area and data canvas.

At the start of the program, epat does a 'readbits' command, to read in the bit defintion.

Main Menu
Open button - bring up the Read Data File dialog box to enable you to load patterns.
Save button - Writes the current application buffer to 'filename'.
Quit  - It does what is saids.
 
Status and Data canvas
The status canvas display textual information about the data and the Data canvas displays the waveform as a diagram.

In the data canvas you may position the curor using the left mouse button. To select many boxes, use the left mouse button to select the 1st box and the middle to select the last box.

Command Area
In the command area there are button to set pixels high, low or to toggle them. Select period can also be copy, cut, and paste to/from the buffer.
